Good Morning All,
As you all might know NAIDOC Week is being celebrated across the country this week, after it was postponed earlier in the year due to COVID-19.
This is an important time to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and, while our celebrations will be limited this year by COVID-19 restrictions, we will still be marking this important week.
Join us for our annual Arche Health NAIDOC Day.
Staff are invited to join us at our annual NAIDOC DAY, Wednesday, 11 November, 10.00am – 2.00pm at Rivervale Community Centre.
This special ceremony is held each year for members of the local Aboriginal community who have lost loved ones in the hospital to come together to cleanse the spirit, body and soul and be supported through the grieving process.
Keep an eye on our teams activities,
We’ll also be sharing content on our Facebook throughout the week, so if you can’t join us for the NAIDOC Day.
By celebrating NAIDOC Week, as individuals and as an organisation, we can increase our cultural understanding of our local Noongar community and bring this knowledge into our work with Aboriginal people across our services.
